Are Pugs Chinese?


Pugs are unbelievably adorable, so it’s hard to believe they’re not known as a Chinese breed. In fact, the Pug shares its heritage with King Charles Spaniel from England and the Dutch Smoushond from Holland. The dog traces back to an ancient breed called Foo Dog from China. These very popular dwarf dogs were known for guarding temples and households many centuries ago.
