The short answer is no, pugs are not hypoallergenic
Pugs are well known for being one of the most difficult dog breeds to deal with. They have great smooshed-in cute faces that people love, but what awaits you within their furry exterior is an independent little guy who will need early training and lots of attention. Many people are drawn in by how cute they look, but find themselves regretful because soon enough pugs start barking at them for any unfortunate reason – quickly forgetting how much love it can offer.
