Siberian Huskies are a strong, distance running breed that–despite their high energy level–requires only moderate physical exercise. They were bred as general-purpose working dogs and make an excellent companion to those looking for a loving but active pet.
As far as the dog-allergic goes, it’s hard to say no definitively one way or another. Anecdotally, we’ve seen plenty of allergy sufferers be able to live with this breed without much issue because they seemed to produce fewer allergens than other breeds; then again, there may not be many people allergic to Huskies and who also live in areas where they’re available (Siberian Huskies originate from Siberia)…
