Are Water Bottles Allowed On Planes?

Yes. The TSA website states that items such as water bottles over 3 ounces and less than 7 ounces can be brought on board.

Certain containers of liquids we could reasonably expect to contain explosives — including water — must either be entirely empty or filled with a highly concentrated gel or liquid – so don’t bring shampoo, for instance – and they shouldn’t contain more than 3.4 oz (100ml) and all other carry-on liquids should be in containers that hold no more than 3.4 oz (100 ml)—either those with the now standard, easy to remove caps that will function as your container’s “last chance” failsafe OR one-time use.
