Can Bananas Cause Heartburn?

It has been found that bananas can cause heartburn and acid reflux, but only in those who produce excess stomach acid. They should be eaten with someone else’s meals because eating them alone will allow for stomach acids to accumulate after the defecation process; this process leads to accumulation of toxins and may result in ulcers. Dieters or those on a “body cleansing diet” (Hollywood detox, cabbage soup diets) should avoid bananas as it may hinder their weight loss progress by causing increased hunger episodes. Bananas also contain ergosterols which increase the amount of cholesterol; therefore those diagnosed with high cholesterol should limit its intake and consult with their doctor before adding it into their diet regime…
