Drinks can indeed be edible. It just depends on how you define “drink.” Juices are made by squeezing the juice out of the fruit. Juice drinks are drinks that have added sugar, flavorings, or other ingredients to improve flavor and also provide additional or needed nutrients. Smoothies contain juices but take it one step further by adding ice cream or yogurt for fullness in addition to extra calories and sugar. The best drink is plain water because it has no salt, no added sugar, and people usually will not over-drink when consuming this beverage (meaning they won’t consume too many calories at once). It’s also cheap!
