Programming doesn’t require as much math as is often thought. Those who excel at mathematics, now have the opportunity to use those skills in a language that is becoming more and more relevant for modern living. Programming can be a great outlet for these individuals because it allows them to put their skills to work with a variety of new creators and thinkers building some really cool things. That said, programming also has its limits so it’s important not to confuse being good at programming with being good at math.
There are many people without any mathematical background but that has been successful in various capacities of computer programming because of their understanding of basic logic, fundamental software design patterns, and industry best practices rather than from an understanding of calculus.
