It’s a horrible story, but as long as they’re not dog-aggressive poodles, bites are rare.
I’d like to answer because I’m thinking of getting one and want to know what it’ll be like.
On the first floor of the Stone Museum building in Central Park, there’s a famous painting by Edwin Whitefield (an English artist) called “Poodle Biting Woman’s Leg”. If you tilt your head to the side and glance at it sideways or upside-down for a while, you can see that the woman with poodles is standing on some steps that look remarkably similar to those found in New York City today…
