The difference between apricots and peaches
Peaches are generally juicier, crisper, less grainy, and more acidic-tasting than apricots.
Peaches taste like peaches because of their thin layer of fuzz called bloom. Apricot also comes with its thin layer of bloom; but only peach flavor is derived from that sweet thin skin underneath that thin layer of fuzz called bloom. However much you wash an apricot or peel it – it will never be as much “peachy” as peach!
