Should Apricots Be Soaked?

Sometimes they are filled with pesticides or even developed seeds, long before they ripen. Soaking is an extra precaution to make sure the fruits are not spoiled on the inside. Apricots should be soaked in a bowl of cold water for about 5 minutes, then rinse under cool water and allow them to air dry on some paper towels before eating. After this process has been done, individually peel each apricot until all of them are peeled completely clean – that way you won’t have to worry about finding any dirty spots inside your apricots.
