Poodles should not be put through such a painful and stressful procedure, which can sometimes lead to long-term infections, permanent hair loss, and an Itchy condition called “Dandruff”. The French Poodle Club also advises against plucking because it changes the texture of the dog’s hair and may create an uneven outline when clipped or groomed.
