One has to be very careful when clipping a Poodle’s hair, otherwise, they risk cutting or hurting them badly. There are also many instances of people overcompensating and hitting bone instead which can lead to permanent damage. All this combined with the time constraints of an Olympic event made Poodle Clipping too dangerous for competition purposes…
