Save all of your work, turn off the device, and check for dirt, hair, or any other obstruction under the mouse.
Try different USB ports.
Replace batteries or rechargeable batteries if it’s a wireless type with AA batteries.
Check that mouse sensitivity is turned on in settings.
Use an external mouse if available to fix the issue. If using an external mouse with Windows XP you need to use “Control Panel”-“Mouse”-“Buttons”. Select “Middle Button Actions” then click “Move Window.” Then make sure there are two boxes checked before clicking Apply Now you should be ready to go!.
