There is no such thing as water bottles that are made in the US. The FDA just ruled that something can be called “Made In America” if 51 percent of its manufacturing costs happen on American soil, including parts and materials for final assembly.
This means that it’s more than likely you’re buying a water bottle from somewhere else. As it turns out, less than 1% of U.S.-based plastic-bottle companies produce 40 or more bottles per minute and would meet the requirements to qualify as Made in America under current FDA standards*.
