Intel Core i5 is the best for today’s laptops.
Processors like Core i5 and Core i7 are manufactured with a system’s power management in mind. The Core processors, on the other hand, were designed more for high-powered desktop systems and laptops such as gaming models that need higher performance even when they’re plugged into an outlet. Because of this focus on power efficiency, the Core processors tend to offer worse performance than their similarly-priced counterparts from Intel – even though they tend to offer more features during idle moments. Unlike AMD’s current offerings, Intel processors’ energy use doesn’t spike when processing-intensive tasks.
