Ryzen’s brute strength comes at the expense of efficiency. If you’ve got a beefier graphics card or need raw number-crunching power for tasks like video rendering, this may not concern you as much, but if your rig is mostly used for office work or browsing then Ryzen may be significantly less efficient than other processors in its class.
