The Intel Core i7-6700K
The power of the processor is mainly driven by two things – clock speed and the number of cores. The Core i7-6700K has both at 4.0 GHz, making it faster than most other processors in either category, with 6 physical cores to back it up with multitasking. There are also many features that the Core branding offers that aren’t available on other chipsets outside of their series, like Turbo Boost which improves performance when needed (at the expense of battery life). It’s not necessarily better in every use case though depending on what task you’re doing; for tasks where your computer needs to handle multiple streams concurrently.
