Who Drinks The Most Alcohol?

It’s a tough race. The numbers vary depending on gender, age and nationality. Still, the Eastern Europeans have a clear advantage in this category.

The number one drinker is Moldova with a whopping 13 drinks per week. Estonia follows closely behind with 12 drinks per week, while Russia takes third place with 10-11 drinks per week for adults aged 18-34 years old. Austria comes next at 8-9 drinks per week, followed by Denmark at 7-8 drinks per month and Italy at 4-5 drinks save for weekends where Italians manage to find some extra time to drink enough for an average of 7 or 8 out of 30 days in one month!
