The people who drink the most tea are in Japan.
Whereas, according to some reports, China may be behind Japan as it concerns quantities of tea whiskey and tea related products, the Japanese continue to lead all other countries worldwide in their consumption of beverages made from leaves – with 97% per capita – despite reduced production and consumption per person. It is unclear what this statistic becomes if we consider that Japanese and Chinese people drink different types of alcohol than Westerners.
