Why CD Drive Is Not Opening?

Your computer is probably installing a driver at the moment, so give it time.

The following are possible reasons why your computer may not be able to open your CD drive.
-Your CD drive does not register as an external device when plugged in (if it’s plugged into the front of your tower)
-Your screen resolution needs adjusting. If you’re running Windows 7 or 8 higher than 800×600, increase it. Higher than 1024×768 and change the “resolution” for desired monitors
-If you’re running Windows XP or Vista, install SP3 if available (it is already installed on most systems).
