Computer ram is important because the computer constantly fills the ram with data. This means that if you want to buy a new or secondhand computer, it needs to have enough memory – commonly in GBs – for your application needs and there’s no way around this.
It’s also wise to get a bigger one than you think you need since RAM currently has no maximum size and can be upgraded by installing more RAM (the bars). Bigger numbers of computer memory have been released, too often just when people thought they were finally covered. We’ve seen cases where people needed twice as much as what they initially bought! So either uses a lot of programs simultaneously or plan ahead for an upgrade.
