Everyone and their neighbor is peddling some drink mix or another that promises to “burn fat” and make people lose weight. But you should be wary of such claims – the main problem is the quality of these drinks. The fact is, most of these experimental drinks get dumped into this category because they don’t taste very good. It’s hard to drink nasty tasting things for any length of time, let alone in a large enough volume to have a healthy effect on your body. And that would be a diet killer right there! Plus, if anything starts interfering with digestion in the stomach it will compromise your nutrient absorption, which would also negate any benefits from exercise.
